CodingPets.dev is a Codex-compatible desktop pet generator independently designed and developed by Alex (Yalin Yang). The service lets you upload a reference image, preview an approved character, and generate a downloadable digital pet package for Codex.
A completed pack includes a ZIP file containing pet.json, spritesheet.webp, install.json, and a README. The pack is designed for Codex custom pets and is not sold as a general-purpose avatar, game asset, or desktop companion for other apps.
You are responsible for the images and instructions you upload. You must have the rights needed to submit them and may not upload content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or intended to impersonate another person without permission.
When paid checkout is enabled, payments are processed by Stripe or another PCI-compliant third-party payment provider. Prices are shown in USD before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that we are not legally required to collect. Where required by law, we or our payment provider may calculate, collect, and remit applicable taxes at checkout.
We do not store full credit card numbers, card security codes, or other sensitive card authentication data on our servers. If paid checkout is enabled, card payments and payment method details are handled by Stripe or the applicable PCI-compliant payment provider.
After payment or verified pack credit redemption, the service generates the final digital pack and makes the ZIP, install metadata, and Codex CLI command available on the result page. Pack credits are promotional credits only and are not cash, refundable, transferable, or withdrawable.
Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Due to the immediate generation nature of digital products, once payment is completed and image generation has started, we do not accept refunds. If generation fails because of a system error, contact us and we will try to regenerate the pack or provide support.
Disputes should first be discussed in good faith by email at support@codingpets.dev. We will try to resolve payment, delivery, or service issues through direct communication before either party pursues other remedies.
